The company trains its own dancers and recruits by audition, on site, in Nantes. We hold no large open call: every application is considered individually, then followed by an appointment in the studio.
Who we are looking for
We welcome committed dancers, from teenagers to adults, from advanced level to professional. There is no height or body requirement: what counts is technical solidity, an appetite for research work and a taste for the collective. A practice in contemporary, neo-classical or modern jazz is expected — versatility is an asset, not a prerequisite.
Your application
Get in touch by phone or email, enclosing:
- A dance CV stating your age, your training and your stage experience.
- Two recent full-length photographs in dance clothing, in a position that shows your lines.
- A link to a recent video (YouTube or Vimeo): an extract from class or barre, and an extract from a contemporary piece. Filmed close enough to be legible, without costume.
If your application is shortlisted
Auditions take place in the studio, by appointment, according to the company's schedule. You will be invited to take a class with the dancers and then to work on a short extract from the repertoire, so that the artistic direction can assess your dancing in context. Allow half a day.
Selected dancers join the company and perform at the annual performance.
